• The books are grouped into four categories: picture books (2-5), easy readers (5-7), chapter books for young readers (7-12), and young adults (over 13). Ages are approximations.
• On this website, you will find reviews of books from all different cultures both inside of the United States and around the world.
• Culture is widely defined including different races and ethnicities, different immigration statuses, people from a wide variety of countries, religious groups, the LGBTQ communities, and disability communities.  
• They will range from fiction to nonfiction--from historical fiction to biographies.
• Some of the books will take place in the present, some in the past, and even some in the future.
• There will be a multitude of genres including narrative, nonfiction, graphic novels, poetry, verse and even books without text.
• Dr. Elisabeth Paige will do some of the reviews and some will be written by guest reviewers.
